Might be a dealer service item. Check the rest pressure from your fuel pump, possibly the pump is not holding the line pressure after engine is warmed and then shut off. Your morning starts are rich starts due to the cold start injector or other mechanisms enriching the mixture. Next check for injector leakdown after shutting off warm. What year is the truck/engine and is it throttle body, SEFI, or carb? I currently own a 98 Suburban.
