I had been looking for more than a couple months...

Wife said "You can buy whatever you want (less than $4000) as long as you know you'll be happy with it" (we cant afford anything more than $4k anyway....)

I finally found the 240d/stick of my dreams (260k, right price, china blue, sunroof(!), trailer hitch, ex-mechanic owner...) and her comments were
"hmm....no rust, all one color, John, this is the nicest car you've ever owned."

She still hates the fact that you cant just lift a lever and let the pass. seat tilt all the way back (like Uhmerican and Japanese cars do), she HAS to be able to sleep when I'm driving...so no MB's for her (blah)

I'll keep her.
