Tell him to only buy it if he plans on trading it in before it gets too many miles on it. Our '96 Cirrus was a decent car up until about 60k or so. POS after that. They don't hold up. Also, he might want to check on how well his local dealer does as far as service goes. Check around for it's reputation. The dealer we bought ours from was a lousy place, and I later found out they had a terrible reputation. We eventually went to one twice as far away. Chrysler dealers have a very spotty track record for standing behind their cars.
