Joel, first remove the trim piece around the cylinder lock ... assuming you have a 124 car. On the 124 cars there's a black barrel over the cylinder lock that comes off with the cylinder lock when you release it. Remove the old cylinder lock from the barrel, insert the new cylinder lock in the barrel and reinstall. As I mentioned it's quite simple when you've done it once ... the experience factor.
