My MB service manual shows an expensive looking tool for cutting the the protective sleeve apart and a secnd tool for closing the joint on the repair kit sleeves. My question is. Can this job be done without special MB tools. The manual also gives a press pressure, to remove the spider joint hub from the axle shaft, of 5000n. What is that in psi.
What good is a low price on a kit if it can't be installed without a thousand dollars worth of MB special tools.
