Hi,

I've got a chance to pick up a '79 300TD metallic brown/tan for "asking $400.00". It runs and drives but needs a rear hydro-shock repair as well as general fix up and major detailing. the front seat MB-Tex is perfect except the pads and springs are shot.
The paint is bad but the body is straight. Is it worth buying it? Or should it go to the dismantler?
