Question Extra wiring plug?

In search of some learned techie insight!

I recently replaced the infamous faulty wiring harness on my 1995 C36 (W202, M104). Original part # HWA 202 540 01 32 and replacement part # HWA 202 540 03 32. I was informed by two separate official MB parts sources that this was, indeed, the correct part due to updated versions of the original (updated twice).

I noticed how a few connections were simplified by cutting out a lot of useless relays and directly wiring to certain connections, quite slick. The installation was tedious but relatively straight forward.

However, I am left with one plug that does not match, but appears to be intended for, the sensor located in the elbow of the crossover intake (not the MAS, the sensor that plugs into the other side of the intake). So, I am left with one plug that can't be hooked up to anything and a sensor with no connection.

The car runs beautifully now but, of course, the CEL has been tripped.

Any ideas or advice would be very much appreciated!!

Thanks so much.
