Actually, a voter is suppose to consider whether the VP is fit for the office of the Presidency. His own record is important. I shudder to think.

If anyone examined Bush's record as governor of Texas, they would find the same corrupt acts he has done as president - selling out public resources cheap to corporations, making the right of corporations to poison air and water more important than the right of children to breath and drink it, and kissing the ass of bigots, gay-haters and religous fascists.
