If it turns out that your motor will not operate....you can probably still pull it apart, apply what it needs (new brushes most likely) and have a working motor again. My w126 window motors have the same size brushes as briggs and stratton electric starter brushes...keep this in mind
You just have to file down the length until everything fits right
