I don't see many 20 year old Toyota's no one wants them, because their are a pita to fix not to mention crude dangerious little cars. Now I that I have worked on Toyota/Honda/GM/Ford I can say that Mercedes are the best to work on. You have to look in odd place's to find quality, for example behind door panals, under carpet. Now MB are by no means perfect and have many problems but they are built to a higher standard, price does reflect this. As for an S600 being at the dealer for half of it's first 90 days, LS430's I'm sure have done that to. Have you ever driven or worked on an S600? There cool cars. No one wants a 10 year old LS400 because it cost $3k to replace a starter for example. Now that I have said that I like Toyota's and am hunting for another Camry for my winter car, they are a good way to get around. But they should not be compared to MB of the same age, apples and oranges.
