I'd have to agree with Alon. I recently changed the plugs on my 95s420 and did not spend the $35 for the spark plug puller. One of the plastic plug boots broke and I was left with the spark plug and metal boot still in the cylinder with only the wire attached, not to mention stray plastic fragments around the spark plug!

It was almost a near disaster had I not fashioned a special tool to reach into the spark plug cylinder and pull the boot out. I, of course, had to replace the wire after that.

Definitely buy the tool.
