Anyone I ever knew who owned one regreted it. They simply require a lot of repairs. The engines don't last, as well. Investment wise, its a loser. No one wants those cars, thats why you find them at giveaway prices on ebay. If your going to go Italian cheapo, look for a good used Alfa, or skip Italian and go Japanese sport cars. It's pretty easy to restore an RX-7, and it is starting to look like Miata's are coming down in price.
