1st of all thanks for your reply!!
today i got ahold of a chilton import car repair manual and it says that the crankshaft should be at 30 degrees before TDC for cyl #1, and that the lobes of the cams must be facing on the middle of the buckets for cyl #2. now, i'm not so sure if the generic chilton book is really accurate, and i much rather trust your knowledge on this. would the chilton assertion be compatible with your recommendation?? is there any other resource (be it a manual, web site, cd-rom) that shows the procedure in detail? i would like to know soon before bending any valves!! thanks again for your help benzmac! jaime
