On my 603.971 engine in the '95 S-350, I have one pre-chamber leaking noticeably. It is leaking right where the notch is on the head. I sprayed soapy water on the others while I was checking it and they just bubbled a little. But the #6 is blowing pretty bad. My question is, is there any sealing ring on the chambers? Best I could find out is they just seal to the metal below without any seal. The book calls for resurfacing with a special tool if leakage occurs. Anybody have any experience with this on a Mercedes diesel??
