Can you shed any light onto a problem I am having with my 94 E280 Auto. To be honest the car spends most if it's time garaged, so doesn't get out on long runs very often. If I go on a short run of a few miles and then turn the engine off, if I try to restart it after 3 or 4 minutes, it just turns over but will not start. If I leave it for a further few minutes then it starts no problem. It seems to be when the engine isn't fully up to normal running temp'. If I go on a longer run so it is up to temp' and then turn it off for a few minutes it starts again no problem.
