Sounds like a good buy.

With the exception of needing a 12-pt "torx-type" bit (or triple-square) for the head bolts, it's all nuts and bolts. The challenge may be to lift out the head with the manifolds attached. It's heavy. You'll probably need some type of overhead winch or engine hoist to gingerly lift the head off.

I feel uneasy about budgeting only a day or weekend for the job. There's always other issues (while you're there) as you go along, and the head may need to be skimmed or reconditioned - a step you're likely to omit if you feel rushed.

You'll also need the correct RTV for the upper timing cover seal.
