The tool is just sorta a bridge looking deal which bolts to the top of the head... and will let the cam sprocket turn.. but not let the chain get so far away from the sprocket that it will get out of ' time' with the ip and crank teeth..
But on the tension deal... I was planning on using a 20 lb weight hung from the ceiling... and attached to the end of the chain when pulling it through the engine.
