Yes, I know about the mirror. I lived in Germany for two years when I was young and drove a lot. I was playing baseball all over Germany and went to a different city every two or three days. By the time I was 22, I had driven about 4 times as many miles on German autobahns as I had driven in the US.

I developed some very good driving habits from this including watching the mirror alot. It also made me a very frustrated driver in the US because so many people want to cruise in the left lane and prevent other cars from passing. The German autobahn is not as good as it used to be in this regard, but it is much better than American highways.
