I HQ'd in Orange Walk Town for a couple of weeks many years ago while I worked in the Cockscomb Mtns. Lovely place and lovely people. Really. I would retire to Belize, it was that nice a place with very open, accepting people.
There was a family who lived nearby who seemed destined to failure economically and culturally. I have often wondered what became of them and I was thinking about them when I read the title of this thread.
