You got an excellent deal, In fact I went back to my records and verified the exact price that I paid. It was $564 CDN + Tax. I bought it from my Local Mercedes Dealer. I remember having called around other Mercedes Dealers and they were all around the same price. No one else Carried that particular part.

Was the 387.00 CDN that you were quoted come from a Mercedes dealer?

My Mono-valve itself was OK the reason that I ended-up changing the complete assembly is that the plastic housing on which both the Mono-valve + Auxiliary pump are mounted, cracked and developed a minute leak, I was able to fix that leak with epoxy, but while doing so I noticed that the Auxiliary pump was not working. I took it apart and discovered that the brushes were worn-out. At that point, I said t'hell with the whole thing and bought a new assembly.

Obviously I had paid too much.
