air conditioning system. I now have a charged system with an operable compressor. I have found that the compressor relay (P/N 001 545 74 05) has a section of solder missing on the back of the circuit board. I have a replacement relay coming from FastLane . I will more than likely attempt to solder/repair the old circuit board and use it for a spare.

Anyway, my question - can the interior temp sensor being bad keep the compressor clutch from energizing. I feel confident in all of the sensors except this one. What should the ohms reading be through this sensor at ambient temp - figure around 65 degrees F.

Thanks,
Jim
