I wondered if anyone actually would go to the sites. We will probably purchased such tooling in the next year or two. There always seems something more important (and expensive) in the way; currently it is the MB scanner SDS at over $20k.

While MBs scanner will allow one time mileage changes to a new unit, BMWs will have to have their instrument cluster sent to the factory to reset a new speedo to old mileage. The use of used speedos is even more interesting in that on some models the chassis number is also encripted into the chip.
