So if I call a MB dealer wit the VIN they should be able to tell if the trap ox has been updated?

for an '85 300D with 168K miles if the recall hadn't been done The dealer will STILL replace the trap and possibly turbo and exhaust when I bring it in? FOR NO CHARGE? (That is to say if I buy the car)

anyone? getting close to decision time....is there a throttle return spring as part of the linkage? The throtle is stickin gon this car.
