Real answer to your question.

If it was as you say:
#1. Replace pan and gasket.
#2. Add oil.
#3. Remove glow plugs.
#4. Squirt a few drops of SAE 30 into each cylinder.
#5. Crank with starter until you have oil pressure.
#6. Replace glow plugs and start.
#7. Run for one hour and replace oil and filter.
