ive had a couple of people ask if i knew i was using diesel fuel....i usually just nod and say yes thats what it runs on....i get a lot of older people who are driving brand new S-class gassers complimenting my car...they say they owned MB diesels years ago but only drove them for a few years and then got new ones....they ask how long ive had mine, and i say ive been a regular passenger in this car since i was 5 years old...and then i get the " get outta here" look when i tell them how old it is, and how many miles are on it
makes me feel proud not to be driving a disposable vehicle...no one buys a car anymore expecting it to last 15-20+ years...i can garauntee, if i live another 20, ill still be the owner of this one...and, funds permitting, ill own a few more as well...126's only
