Ok Scott and Rick... I will go out now and follow your instructions. I would never have found that nut to manually open the roof. Thanks! This net is marvelous. No I do not need the sunroof operable for Maryland State inspection... but I just noticed the problem while in the process of preparing the car for inspection.

Also... the cables for both rear windows have come unwound off the spool and they are crimped and tangled. Any sugestions as to how to streighten out that mess? I think the previous owner must have had a nervous habit of pushing buttons while driving.
