You should have no problem. Truck stops are everywhere! Usually the signs that tell you about food/lodging/fuel as you approach an exit will tell you which stations have diesel as well.

If you're still uncomfortable about it, buy a big plastic kerosene can, fill it with diesel, and put it in the trunk.
