Beautiful 93 300SD...love his comment on engine

If I needed another vehicle I would be ALL OVER this one. Though I would prefer Black Leather.

This is what he says:

The W140 class cars are substantially more luxurious and heavier than their predecessor , the w126 "S" class. Many of you might remember that the inception of the six cylinder diesel in North America occurred with the 1986 300SDL and the E300, both with the 3.0L in line six and the dreaded 1987 trap oxidizer.

MB followed up with its 1987 300SDL through 1991 350SD and SDL models. The diesel six had its fair share of bumps and miscues in the late 80s through 1991, but as Mercedes benz engineers frequently, revise and rethink, improvements are born.

The end result is the 140 class diesel. The inline six in my opinion has proven itself to be a bulletproof and worthy successor to the final 1985 300SD
.

Hmmmmm, he may want to rethink that....at least he doesn't give the 500,000 statement.

Think he has his production numbers wrong too.
