I was choming the inside of my head lihgt houseings today (see performance paddock) and in order to get at them I had to take the intake off the car (1994 E420) on the drivers side there is a sensor mass air or something and i disconnected it. Then I put it all back together and forgot to put the sensor connector back on and you guessed it I started the motor and the check engin light came on. I am 99% sure that the sensor made it come on. Now my question is will the light turn off or will i have to make an expensive trip to the dealer.
Please help me and my stupid mistake.
