I agree with your statement

I too, believe that a value is what someone is willing to pay.

It's interesting to see all of the bidders who come out of the woodwork for a low mileage reagan-era car.

There is a great deal more pressure on the price with this w126 than I have ever experienced with the w140 (even when they were nearly new, I had to beg people to buy them). The W126 seems to attract an older customer , typically, with deeper pockets , who will simply pay , for what he or she wants. In this case I think that the mileage is driving the price.

The car has surprised me quite a bit because I initially had targeted a lower sales price. In my mind a w140 should be worth more..Shows what I know!
