zymol is a nice product.
I’m sure the engine cleaner will work great. Like most cleaners you spray it on a dry surface then spray off. But read the directions.
I go to a local car wash with a hi pressure sprayer. In most cases you don't need any cleaner.......
do the engine ..... then jack up the car and do the underside wheel wells etc ...
Word of caution!! keep away from electrical connectors alternators battery etc.
They can take some water but not hi-pressure. It may be a good idea to clean the connections, plug wires and such. You can remove plug wires clean them and then spray with silicone. Clean and water proof.!
I wipe the hoses with lemon plege looks great! Try it under the hood ...and on flat black paint and rubber.
Clear floor wax works great on tires.
