Peter,

If you ask me, based on my knowledge of your car, I must say that I don't know.

But, since my '91 190E, '93 E300, '94 E320 all had the button/LED, I would say that you have one also.

It is located in the right front side of the engine compartment and probably has a plastic cap in it. When removed, you'll see a small button and LED with a bunch of labeled pin sockets.

So, Peter, press away! You'll probably see just one (1) flash. And that's good, means NO FAULTS in SYSTEM! Go have a beer! And don't forget to buy me one!
