Wow! Thanks for the speedy replies. It appears maybe I'm not as ignorant as my dealer implies. A leaking master cylinder certainly seems like the most likely culprit. However the dealership has tried to convince me that there is some new Toyota technology involved that uses the power booster to limit the pressure that can be applied by the brake pedal. It sounds to me like they are using some distorted interpertation of antilock brakes. But since I can't find current tech info on Camry brakes I thought someone out ther might know if indeed there is something new.
