One time I had to go into a station to pay for diesel, when all the gas pumps had card readers on them. The attendant said that too many people had been putting diesel in their cars so they took the card reader off the diesel pump. Now customers have to go in and pay for pump # ? and she politely confirms that it is a diesel pump.
