Oil Overfill--Enough to Be Concerned

Took my 1992 300D in for an oil change. Looks like they overfilled. I know that overfill is bad, and I think I know the reasons why.

My question: is the amount they overfilled enough to worry? On the dipstick, it's 3/8" above the full mark (i.e. 3/8" up the red plastic piece), measured hot after sitting for 10 minutes.

Thanks.
