I have a motor/transmission from a 1973 450SE with 140k original miles. It should fit with no problems into an SEL and if you have the correct mounts it should also fit an SL. You will have to do your own research though. I want $500 for the eingine and $275 for the trans or $650 for both. I am in Santa Maria CA, about 3 hours north of Los Angeles.
