So...
I'm driving to school today, the fuel gauge on my 300sd indicates that there
is a 1/4 tank of fuel left. I'm cruising northbound on 101 going through south
San Jose when I run out of fuel. ****...now I'm going to miss my class and it's going to costa small fortune to get some one to bring me a little bit of fuel to get me to the next diesel filling station. So, just for the heck of it I call the 1-800 number on the inside of the glove box, Mercede road side assistance, and they actually came out and gave me a coule of gallons of fuel at no charge.
Unbelievable, considering my car is 24 years and I'm not the original owner.
