I blended last year in Michigan and didn't have any problems. Of course, that doesn't mean anything. The risks are there. I averaged 4 gallons of
really well filtered wvo per fill up. When it was really hot (90's), I tried a 50/50 blend
only when I knew I was going to burn the whole tank , i.e. on a road trip. Currently I'm looking into a second heated tank system, and would strongly recommend that if you see yourself burning vegoil long term. By the way, if you need some filtering bags, I've got an extra 5 micron and 1 micron bag that I'd sell for $10.00 for the set (plus shipping). Take care, happy motoring.
