I know. The mechanic says he has replaced many of them. It seems since the harness is directly on the cylinder head, it soaks up all the heat and causes the wires to deteriorate. As a result the car misses, runs like crap and throws many codes. Mercedes made a change for the 96 model even though it uses the same basic engine.
