DB,
1) If your car is a dog until 2100rpm, you need to adjust the off-idle fuel delivery. If you are NOT messing with full-load quantity, do this with the ALDA adjustment. If you are going to mess with full load, do that BEFORE dinking with the ALDA.
2) Most of the variable vane setups I'm familiar with are computer controlled, i.e. not mechanically operated. If someone knows of another option let me know. I'm pretty sure that if there was something available, the Finns would have already BT and DT...
