well, I'm gonna try taking the seat out completely and swapping the electronics, cabling, to the other car (high mileage one). I might be getting rid of the higher mileage one soon anyway.
I plan to set the seat of the high mileage car to the correct position and then pull both seats out.
I'm hoping it'll be easy to swap out the parts and find the source of the short. Could a loose cable cause this? Any tips on seat removal?
