4880 is the maximum gross weight with full fuel. Subtract 930 lb. for weight capacity and you get 3950. Subtract the fuel and you should get the curb weight (3800). I'm not sure where the 35 lb. disappeared.
The extra 35 lbs...You don't suppose they forgot to include the spare wheel? The wheel "Feels" like it weighs about 35 lbs. It's the only thing I can think of right now.
