Unless you are experienced doing this kind of repair, you will most lilekly find your result to be unsatisfactory. Get an estimate from several experts on doing it properly, and consider if you can afford it. It may not be as expensive as you think. It cost me $40.00 CDN to have a tear repaired professionally.

A professional repair is almost invisible. An amateur repair, will most likely look amateurish.
