Well FYI, if you ever seperate an MB caliper you should just throw it in the trash. People at the dealer have told me that if you seperate the halves, and rebuild the seals there, they will always leak.


If you want to rebuild it, you can do it, without splitting the halves. Just change the piston seals and dust covers because those are the ones that breakdown because of the heat cycling.
