I dry my thoroughly filtered oil by heating each batch (16 litres) on the kitchen stove to 225F (measured with a candy thermometer). I can see very small water bubbles rise to the surface. As soon as the bubbles stop I remove the heat, pour it back into the plastic bucket and seal the lid on so that humidity will not be re-absorbed from the air. These are the original 16 litre plastic canola oil buckets, and they do withstand that high temperature no problem.
