I love the 300 SD. However, I respect it's limitations.
The mileage varies from a low of 23.5 in the winter to almost 29, on a real good highway run, below 70 mph, in the spring or fall (no a/c).
I'm betting against the turbo being a serious issue.
But, please re-read my advice in the previous post. I have edited it.
