Now we're getting somewhere. What is the year and exact model of the Olds? I'd like to find some Car & Driver or Road & Track test data on it.
I believe wols0003 has an extremely valid point... there's no way your car is getting from 30-60 and 60-90 in the same time interval. That's why I'm questioning the accuracy of the timing as well as the speedometer. No need for a GPS in the vid... set cruise at 30 and tell us what GPS says, then do the same at 90. The percentage error can vary with speed.
Anyone have a G-Tech you can borrow? A timeslip from the local dragstrip would be the easiest & cheapest way to get dead accurate data... for about $20, I can get 4-6 runs at the drasgstrip near me. I have all the data uploaded in
MS Excel format if you want to see the typical numbers for a 124/603. I'd be happy to post a scan of my diesel timeslip after I get my scanner working. I have a pic of my
best time in my E500 but that would only be a fair comparison to a Finnish SuperTurbo, lol...
