Ok, when you post a question please include what model/year car you have. I can tell it is a 617 engine but little else.

On the white thing by your injector pump, that L shaped hose should be a T shaped hose and one of the lines (black if original) should plug into this "T" and the other end there should be a line to that missing place in the that rubber boot with the many lines. (this is the air intake line and they went for clean cabin air.)

That other line that goes to the alda that has the funny looking crosshatch pattern connected to it is the boost line and the funny hose was put there to bypass the overboost protector that appears to be the following picture although I can't tell very well by the picture.
