I have a mirror set w/ housing that came off a 300SDL Driver and Passenger. I was going to use it for an old project of mine but I sold the car and these ended up sitting in my garage. I was told that they operate fine but can't guarantee anything since I havent tested it myself. I dont see why it wouldnt work but then again I cant guarantee anything.
