Your right. The money is to keep my tools in working order. If needed, I will take the injectors apart and clean the seat + needle and shim them. If they are dirty, the nozzels will have a poor spray pattern, drip, stick or you name it. It is not hard to see. If cleaning them doesn't improve the spray pattern, your nozzles are worn and need to be replaced. Anymore questions?

This is great. If you are going to clean those holes and set the pressures for $3 each this is too good a price to refuse.
Are you using hardened shims to set the pressures? In a recent thread some were advocating the use of soft washers to set the pressures. Too much stress, oscillation, vibration to use soft shims, they didn't harden them for the fun of it. Those shims get hammered.
